AG Liz Murrill’s Office Rearrests New Orleans Man Already on Pre-Trial Home Incarceration for Additional Crimes Against Children

40-year-old Tyler Daniel Wallo, of St. Charles Ave in New Orleans, was arrested September 24, 2026, on the following charges:

Special Agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation received a CyberTip from NCMEC indicating an individual was engaged in the possession and/or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material utilizing a social media application. After an investigation, Special Agents identified Tyler Daniel Wallo as the suspect. It was further determined that Wallo was currently on pre-trial home incarceration related to a prior arrest for Computer-Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Attempted Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.

On September 24, 2026, Special Agents of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, along with Troopers with the Louisiana State Police, located Wallo at his residence and placed him under arrest on a warrant for Three (3) Counts of 14:81.1(E)(5)(a) Child Sexual Abuse Material under 13 years old. Wallo was subsequently booked into the Orleans Parish Jail on the warrant.

Wallo was out on $180,000.00 bond from his previous arrest in Orleans Parish.

This arrest was the result of a joint investigation involving the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation - Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Louisiana State Police, Orleans Metro ICAC Taskforce, and the New Orleans Police Department.

Current bond information is unknown.

The investigation remains ongoing.
