Registration is now open for Arizona’s first Arts Learning and Leadership (ALL) AZ Summit! Hosted by the Phoenix Conservatory of Music and facilitated by ArtsEd West, the ALL AZ Summit provides access to 2 breakout sessions featuring over 20 sessions. A nationally-recognized Keynote and Master Workshop Facilitator. Community-building and networking with facilitated solutions-making sessions and hands-on art-making sessions. We provide you with the skills and tools to shape public policy in your community.
Why are we doing this now?
Students and Teachers NEED this work NOW! Over 140,000 AZ students are without access to arts education. 28% of AZ schools offer no arts courses. Six AZ counties are seeing a decline in school-based arts education, and access gaps continue to widen, driven by shifting policy priorities and the teacher shortage. But we also know that access to the arts is part of each child’s civil rights. We know that participating in the arts develops neurological pathways that can only be developed by the arts. And we know that students who participate in the arts are more likely to graduate from high school.
