Illegal Israeli Occupiers Murder Schoolboy in West Bank

(MENAFN) According to reports, a typical school morning in the village of Al-Mughayyir was abruptly disrupted on Tuesday when illegal Israeli occupier’s started heavy gunfire shortly after classes began. Students had just settled into their classrooms, teachers were organizing lessons, and daily routines were underway when Israeli occupiers, supported by Israeli soldiers, moved into the vicinity of the school and began shooting.

As stated by reports, the situation escalated within moments, transforming the school environment into one of fear and confusion. Two Palestinians were murdered in the incident, including a 14-year-old boy, while several others sustained injuries. In response, families and local residents rushed toward the school in an effort to evacuate children who were trapped inside.

Residents described the event as part of an ongoing pattern rather than a one-time occurrence, characterizing it as a continued effort aimed at pressuring villagers to abandon their homes.

Eyewitness accounts, as cited in reports, indicate that parents were urged to come immediately after school officials contacted them. One local resident, Kadhim al-Hajj Mohammad, said he joined others heading toward the school following the call.

“The school asked parents to come and get their children,” he told Anadolu.
“But when people came, the army also opened fire.”

He explained that by the time families arrived, Israeli occupiers had already spread across the area, while Israeli soldiers were positioned nearby. According to his account, one of those killed, Jihad Abu Naim, appeared to have been among the civilians gathered outside the school. Another victim, Aws al-Naasan, was also killed near the site during the incident.

Reports further indicate that multiple individuals were injured, with some suffering serious wounds. The sequence of events, according to the same witness, suggested a level of prior coordination in how the attack unfolded.
